This weekend was gorgeous in NYC, so I did quite a bit of walking around, and one thing I noticed everywhere, besides pumpkin coffee, was… boots! NYC women inspire me all the time, but it was the way they were all showing off their boots that got me thinking about how much a I love a great boot. They were wearing them with skinny jeans and sweaters, leggings, sun dresses (it was unseasonably warm), and they ranged from flat and slouchy to tall and tip-toe heels. So, I felt it was time to highlight a great boot.
No one does boots like Frye. I already own a pair of Frye, and I will tell you that they are worth the investment because they look better the longer you wear them. Like men and fine wine, they get better with age. I love these boots because they’re simple, and the high heel and tapering at the leg are so flattering. Being only 5’3″ I love anything that makes my legs look long and lean – these would do that! I can’t even imagine all the possibilities of outfits to wear with these!
